Wet weekend ahead!

We're off camping this weekend with Mum and Dad at Corowa.

2 Days ago our plans were to take our van and annexe and Mum and Dad were going to take the boat and a tent.

Yesterday Steven got advanced emergency management warning of severe weather up that way. So yesterday our plans changed to us taking the van and no annexe and Dad taking his van instead of the tent and boat.

Today they issued a minor flood warning for Corowa for the weekend!!!!!!!!!

At this stage we are still going. I rang the park and they said it needs to get to about 7-8mt before the park floods and the river is currently at 3.4mt- but they are relasing water from the Hume Dam... so we will review each day between now and Saturday!!

Shame about the boat- Dad just went and bought a life jacket for the dog and I was so looking forward to taking photos of him in his personal flotation device!! PMSL!

we're out on the road this weekend to but starting at Dartmouth then khancoban and maybe griffith (depending on floodwaters around there.)

Saturday was very very wet! But we didnt gte flooded out (although the river rose a full metre whilst we were there!) and we got to view the amazing sight of Hume Weir releasing water! We did almost 1000km over the course of the weekend, and I took 315 photos- lots of them playing with some of the things we are learning in our photo course.

Our weekend was just the same as a few before - helping out with Dad, running the kids around (Melissa working now adds a whole different route now to the Taxi Circuit ) but got some 'crafty' time in to make some Cards. Sounds like you had adventures Narelle as usual - you are such fun parents - wanna adopt me????
